The consequences of not planning for retirement isn't always disastrous, but you can guarantee that it will not be ideal.

Think about all the things that you would like to do when you retire?

Personally, I would like to take my wife to Hawaii and relax on the beach without a care in the world, and still have plenty leftover to live comfortably for the rest of my retirement.

But as we know, life does not always go according to plan...

As the saying goes "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"!

Now imagine instead of sitting on a beach with your partner enjoying your retirement, you are forced to downsize and move in with your adult children to help cover the cost of living, and your dream retirement vacation is no more. Your retirement dreams are crushed!

"Unfortunately, not having enough money for retirement will be a reality for far too many Americans. As Forbes contributor Andrew Biggs noted, “roughly 45 percent of working-age households have no retirement savings at all.” That doesn’t count social security or defined-benefit pensions, he says, but millions of families will still run short." @Forbes

Do not let this happen to you. Stay tuned for tips on how to be smarter with money to secure your financial future.
